K. C. Mehta & Co. (KCM) welcomes Mr. Bhadresh Vyas as Director, Indirect Taxes in Mumbai

With more than 20 years of post-qualification experience behind him, Bhadresh joins KCM as a Director in its Indirect Tax Practice and would be based out of Mumbai. He would not only take the Indirect Tax practice further but would also lead the Mumbai practice of the Firm.

His areas of expertise are Goods & Services Tax (GST), Customs, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), and erstwhile Indirect Tax matters (i.e. Excise, service tax, and VAT/sales tax).  

He has a flair for managing and leading indirect tax related assignments across sectors including structuring, advisory, managing compliances, audits, refunds, litigation, SVB, customs and FTP related assignments and has additionally been engaged with aiding his clients set up systems and processes in place to take care of GST in India and VAT in GCC region (more specifically UAE). He has been actively involved in matters relating to advocacy and representations before the Government for his clients directly and through various chambers of commerce on matters related to GST and Customs.

Bhadresh was previously associated with Indirect Tax practice of Sudit K Parekh & Co. LLP as a Partner.

He takes active interest in delivering lectures at various events and seminars on topics related to Indirect Taxation.
