This session will provide a foundation for you to understand the basics of the ESG framework to manage risks and opportunities (environmental, social, and governance factors).
David Solomon Bassiouni is the President of The Bassiouni Group, a global consulting firm focused on sustainability, innovation, and impact. With 25 years of experience across 60 countries, Mr. Bassiouni helps companies and institutions to develop Sustainability/ESG solutions that result in positive impact and growth. Mr. Bassiouni has extensive experience in the private sector as well as the public sector, and has advised C-suite leaders across multiple sectors. Following primary and secondary education at Scottish boarding schools, he graduated with honors from McGill University, Canada. Mr. Bassiouni has been featured on CNBC/CNBC Europe and in The Washington Post, and has also spoken at numerous venues including the Harvard Club, Columbia University, and City University New York. He is a member of Highland Carbon’s Advisory Board and a member of the Board of Associates at Ronald McDonald House (New York), amongst others.
